I am wanting to make a copy of our VSS database available on a completely different Server, so that if our live Server goes down, we can still access up-to-date documents on the standby Server.
I realise that I could just copy the main top-level folder and all it's sub-folders to the other machine overnight and tell Users to open this new database from SourceSafe, but i wondered if there is any facility within SourceSafe itself to specify another location to create a standby copy of the entire database in the event of a disaster on the principal Server ?
Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks.
