VSS Shadowing and Deploying

We are running a VSS database on an NT 4 server. As we are gradually upgrading all our web servers to Win2K the shadowing and deploying from VSS is not workinh correctly. We set up shares to each web directory and assaign users into this which works fine on NT 4 web servers but on Win 2K servers we get access denied errors when checking files in and when trying to deploy - the only way round this at present seems to be to make the users Admins on each server which obviously is a security issue, do you think upgrading the VSS server to Win 2K will sort this out? Or is there any other ideas? Thanks

Don't think this is neccessarily VSS's fault.

We had same access permissions problems with other software when we introduced 2000 servers into NT4 server environment.

Check MS website or TechNet (if you have it) - there are hundreds of issues

You could try ethnically cleansing NT from your setup (as we did - great marketing policy Mr Gates !!!!) Spencer Window (not a joke name)
