VSS on WinXP Pro

I have installed Visual Studio 6 Enterprise on WinXP Professional. I am now trying to install Back Office for Visual Interdev debugging, but the following two items are failing.

Remote Machine Debugging and Visual Interdev Server failed on install. I have tried multiple things, but can't seem to get it working as I might expect.

Any tips / thoughts as to the issue and what might correct it would be helpful.
