VSS for PeopleSoft??

I am investigating VSS as a source control system for our company. It will do for most of our developement environments, which use TOAD, UltraEdit, Dreamweaver etc etc.

However I can find no documentation on whether it will be suitable for PeopleSoft development. We are on PeopleSoft 7.5, and run off a Unix server.

Does anybody know if PeopleSoft can be controlled through VSS? Does anybody have any experience with it?
