I am not able to add a web project to Visual Source Safe. I get the error message "visual studio cannot add frontpage web sites to source control".

I have looked online and see instructions for enabling Source Safe Integration when installing VSS on the server, choosing the Custom install option. The problem is, it looks like that option is only for VSS 6.0, and not VSS 2005? I am at a loss on how to setup VSS 2005 so that I can have web projects (that have FrontPage Server Extensions enabled) added to the source safe database and then use Visual Studio 2005 to check-in, check-out, etc. This is our development environments and we are using FrontPage Server Extensions to allow developers to create, open, edit web sites in Visual Studio using the URL of the site (Remote Site option).

Our development environment uses Windows Server 2003, IIS 6.0, and FrontPage Server Extensions. Develpers then access web projects through Visual Studio 2005 remotely (using the non-isolated model).

What is the trick to adding these types of web projects to VSS 2005?
