VSR voice mail corrupted

Wondering if anybody has ever run into the VSR voice mail system, presently have it hooked up to a nortel option switch via a voice bridge emulation and every 2 to 3 months the c.o.s. of the mailboxes all get corrupted with smiley faces and such and have to redo all the mailboxes.
I think the software may be corrupt (version 5.0)

is that a digital interface? if so nortel (opt 11) might be sending lamp audits or ? and causing that.. make sure the cls of service of the agents do not have mwa.. at times that can cause problems.. on the switch side, keep an eye on the screen, are you getting any err/bug/sch reprots that seem to repeat?

your 1st thought could be right, it could as well be a bad os on the mail
