I have an old CoVoice that appears to not be communicating to the PMS system. In testing I have a laptop connected to the serial interface and watching the startup, I see that PMS is working and set to 1200, N81. I send it Ctrl Q, S, E, F or anything and no response. If I disable the onboard serial ports, which the CoVoice is supposed to use the ISA boards serial, I lose my DTR and RTS upon reboot, out that ISA board. BIOS shows 2 built ins and if both are disabled there is still one assigned, 2E8, but it is disabled until I enable the 1st on board serial.
If there is any settings on setting the ports up as to which one, where is it? I have gone through the directory and opening all of the .bat files and some of the .exe's. I have adjusted the config.sys which only gives you COM port number, not address, and baud rate.
Any other way to test Xon/Xoff that I'm missing?
Any port settings that I'm missing?
Thanks in advance
