I had an usual instance where I found 2 hidden .VSP files on our Production DB servers. The server is only used as a SQL DB server so finding these files makes me suspicious. 1 file was over 4GB and the other file was over 6GB. The name format was something like 'Cache25.VSP'. Any ideas what app would produce these files?

This link mentions VSPCache*.VSP files.
Looks like a Veritas Backup product.
If you're not running the backup software they are referring to, then I suppose it is time to get suspicious.
