I am having a problem with vsftp (I think). I am trying to recover a ghost image that I created before from my ftp server. The server is a CentOS4 box with vsftpd-2.0.1-5 installed and running. I am using g4u for the ghosting software. When I start to reloading the ghost image from the server it starts off at very high (around 11 MB/s) transfer rates and slowly drops to around 1.2MB/s. There are no other computers on the switch drawing traffic and the server has no other connections to it. Is there any setting within vsftp that might be throttling the connection the longer it goes. The file size of the image is about 18GB.
Any help would be appreciated.
