Hi all,
I have just setup the new version of vsftpd that allows ssl connections. I had vsftpd (early version) running on this server that is setup in the DMZ, with clients accessing data from the outside.
After the upgrade, I am successfully able to both vsftp and vsftp+ssl to the box from the inside. Once I try from the outside though, I am only able to vsftp. When I try with ssl, I accept the certificate, the server logs me in and then it says "500 Illegal PORT command" when it trys to list my directory. I have tried passive mode, but that still does not work.
Just a little background, I have left options open for both vsftp and vsftp+ssl because some clients still need to access through internet explorer.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Chris
