Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could help out with a home networking problem. I am attempting to network my laptop (uses win 98) and my desktop (win ME).

It seems like the network gets setup on the laptop (i can see the laptop in network neighbourhood), but there is a problem with win ME.

In win ME after setting up the network using the wizard i restart the computer....after restart i get an error (blue screen) that has VSERVER(01) error. After i hit enter the computer returns to the desktop....if i try to use the wizard again the same error appears..

anybody have an idea what this is...or how to better setup my network? I plan to share my DSL off the desktop...

thanks

Vserver is a virtual device driver, you should not need this to set up a home network, however you could probably reload it from your ME disk. A good site with viuals for home netwoking is listed below.
