VSE Update problem

Hi,

I am running EPO 3 w/sp1. I have not been able to update the DAT on my EPO server. It successfully updates but then the signature always says 10/1/03. It never changes. I am noticing a lot of nodes not being able to update since I upgraded EPO from 2.5 to 3. Any ideas? I am going to try downloading the DAT and installing it that way but kinda unreasonable to do that for all nodes. Just wondering if anyone out there had that problem before.
License is set to perpetual.

Also, I recieved this error during one update.

Try the following on epo server:

1) delete/remove latest DAT and and engine update from repository

2) stop framework service

3) clear IE or internet cache

4) restart framework service

try a manual "pull" to your master server (epo server)

There were a lot of problems coming from epo 2.5.1 to 3.0 the 3.01.

On the client computers assuming they are 2k or XP - make sure the remote registry service is running on the client (probably the same on the epo server). Many of the agents didn't upgrade correctly so they don't recognize ANY repository for upgrade.

Another small problem is the clients are updating (because the update job is actually located on the client) but not communicating that back to the server.

It may be necessary to go to the program files\network associates\common framework and run:

frminst /agent=uninstall
or
frminst /forceuninstall

then reinstall the agent

framepkg /siteinfo={path}

Uh, well, i just went to the EPO console and checked the agent settings and made sure that nai site was the only thing checked.
