I have the Alert Manager set up to notify me when a virus is detected on a user's machine. I also have it set up to pop up a message on the end-user's machine that states they have received the virus.

Is there any way to verify that the end-user is getting this pop up message? I have tested it thouroughly and it works, but the end-user(s) continue to say they haven't seen the pop-up.

Does anyone know if there is a log that is generated anywhere?

I can see in the OnAccessScanLog that the virus was detected, but I can't find any "proof" that the Message for the end user was shown on their computer. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Usually there will be an entry in the users System log (this assumes they are running NT or Win2K or XP, and that the Messenger service is running...) with the heading Application Pop-up. The entry contains the actual message displayed.

eg: Application popup: Messenger Service : Message from xxxxxx to yyyyyyy on 7/16/2003 12:07:20 PM blah blah blah blah
