VS R4 2 port mbx problem

Mailbox won't let access. Says many unsucessful attempts. Administrator level has reinitialized password, mailbox and then deleted and re-created mbx. Mbx still does not allow access. Any ideas?

Is this particular mailbox existing or is it being added for the 1st time?

Assuming that the mailbox is configured as a standard "run of the mill" voicemail box and programming is correct, you could try defaulting the voicemail system and reprogram it from scratch.

I thaught of that but wanted to check with you guys before I took such a drastic messure.

Yes is is a basic mailbox.

There might be some other way to fix the problem. Touchtone Tommy is one of the most knowledgeable posters in this forum . He might have some suggestions.
