Once again we are getting this error. I was told run a port traffic report to verify how much traffic the system is taking and it shows fine. No ports are busy. Any ideals where this error is coming from? Users are reporting an announce message while loging in to thier mailboxes of the delay. The documenation states that there is no repair for this issue.
Docs states Description:
This alarm indicates that too many callers are experiencing delays while
interacting with the system. An internal monitor checks the system every 15
minutes, and if three of these checks within an hour indicate that more than 1% of
calls have experienced delays, the system generates this warning.

can you post the whole error. Also how many users are on the system and what rel are you on?

We are at version 2.0 and here is the error that's shown while running command displog -l act from a command prompt:
App Resource Location Alarm Alm Ack Date/Time
VS PERF 1 WRN N 08/17/06 09:48

I assume that the user is hearing please wait is that the case?

This sounds like a delay on the private network. Are you using a COM hub for the private network? If so you may want to consider just using a cross over cable for a 1 MAS 1 MSS system. It could also mean that the DNS entry for the privet LAN is wrong. In rel 2 the DNS for the privet LAN should be the loop back IP of 127.0.0.1. Or it may be all thou I don't think it would be that the private LAN is not on top in the advanced settings for adapters and bindings under network and dialup connections.

Thanks for the tips! The NIC cable between the MAS, and MSS is connected to a 3com hub provided by Avaya. I will get a crossover cable and swap out and verify if we get those errors again. I have checked the adapters and the private LAN is on top. I will check the DNS for the private LAN adapter and make sure that the loopback IP is 127.0.0.1.
