Could someone please tell under what basis does VS.net decide to delete lines of your code from your initilisation function? Or even delete entire labels/buttons from my program.

It's really starting to annoy me. Am I missing something or is this just a bug in the program?

Have you said anything negative about Bill Gates lately!? Visual Studio has a built in sound recorder that captures any negative comments about Bill, and punishes the developer by deleting code! You'd better go buy an xbox to attone for your sins.

(k, its all made up, but its a good way to convince your parents/significant other that you need an xbox)

I've run into this problem when we first started using VS.NET, but since the latest update it hasn't done it to me...much. I find it only happens when I'm switching from html view to design view.

I've been hunting for an answer to this too, and there isn't anything I've found yet on Microsofts support site. If anything comes up, I'll let you know. In the meantime, just save your code as often as possible.

Sorry, my bad.

What I really meant was (man, I'm having probs typing what I mean today ):
"I havn't noticed it since we updated from the beta version of .NET to the release version, as well as the updates for the .NET framework"

Hmm this is odd. I have noticed people talking about this in various forums. Fortunately however I have not encountered it.

I am carefull not to say negative things about Bill around my machine though.
