VS.NET newbie question:"The designer cannot be modified at this time."

Why do I keep getting "The designer cannot be modified at this time." when trying to change the ID of a TextBox in the designer mode? (I have no browsers open.)

What do I need to do to change it's name?!

Well, shutting down VS.NET and starting it again fixed this "issue". Anyone know why this happened???

You may have been in debug mode. That message comes up if you try to edit things while debugging. That'l do donkey, that'l do
