Supposedly VS.NET is supposed to get rid of the SQL Server's Enterprise Manager. Well, for the most part, I'm fine with this. The only problem I have is the lack of services. Hopefully I'm missing something. If anyone can steer me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it. Thanks! ________________________________________

Hey Mike,

What do you mean by lack of services?

So far, from what I"ve been playing with, the vs.net sql server tools are identical to the query analyzer/enterprise manager, just in a bit different interface and with the convenience of being within vs.net.

Of course, I don't think that the original sql server tools should be abandoned, especially since there will be scenarios where an organization has a seperate database and developer team setting. But now I'm rambling. What is it exactly you need clarification on?
