recently, vs.net 2003's ide stopped letting me cut, copy paste and even delete components. this can be quite irratating, expecially if i want to cut, copy paste or even delete components. has anyone else noticed this? does anyone know any ways around this bug?

I have found that if anything weird start happening, a good 'ole re-boot will usually fix it.

well a reboot wasn't enough. sometimes it's sorted after a compile, sometimes not, sometime a compile restarts the problem.

i also find that my mouse is limited to not moving out of a tabcontrol after after clicked on one of the tab buttons to change the tab page. i don't know if this is a bug, or if it's microsoft 'helpfully' marking boundries of the tabcontrol, but iether way it's a load of bollocks.

Sounds like one of the nice little "Unexpected" M$ errors. I'm running VS 2003 myself and haven't come across this problem. Re-install?

i'm sick of reinstalling things, but i think you're right. the help section never worked anyway; perhaps that'll sort itself out too. i'm going to put it off for a while though, in the hope that a quicker solution will make itself apparent.

You can try to rebuild the project.
I have heard that rebuilding a project can fix these kinds of problem.

a rebuild eh? also a lot of work, but i suppose it could do the job.
