Hi List,
I am designing a VRRP solution for a WAN Gateway at multiple branch office locations. Each location has a router which will provide gateway access to the WAN for 2 different interfaces.
However we would also like to fail over the WAN, as it's IP address must be accessible from all other gateway routers.
In order to achieve this we need a solution which (in the case that one VRRP group fails, that ALL VRRP groups fail over).
Topology looks like this:
(So I want to provide VRRP for LAN1, LAN2 and the WAN. Therefore if one goes down then we will have to fail over all interfaces or traffic from one interface will not reach its outbound destination)
LAN1 LAN3

LAN2---- VRRP Pair -----{WAN}----- Router ------LAN4
Does anyone know how this type of VRRP scenario will work?
Thanks in Advance.
