VRRP configuration- question?

Can this be done?

I need to set up a router with two Ethernet cards attached to the same LAN to give us fail over if one card should fail

I have a ASN with 2x 10mbit ethernet cards and one E1 card. We have a number of remote hosts that connect to this router via the E1 connection. I want to make sure that if we had a failure of one of the cards or the cable fails we could continue to provide service through the second card.
