Hi every buddy

I've installed qmail, it works properly. Newly, I was working hard to know vpopmail, in docz is told that vpopmail send his log messages to syslog but I cannot find any. I've compiled vpopmail with --enable-logging=v that enables verbos logging.

I have problem with vpopmail authenticating and I cannot find the problem w/o it's logz.

I need your suggesions.
TIA

It is likely that your system uses /etc/syslog.conf to decide where syslogd records different types of logs. I would presume that your syslog.conf has a line similar to

mail.info /var/log/maillog

You will probably find that vpopmail is logging to /var/log/maillog

Hope this helps.. - J

Yea, you'r right. I've found sth in /var/log/mail/info

thx buddy
