VPNing with W2000

Just cant get this to work. Have a CISCO PIX501 and a couple of DELL Inspr 8000 Laptops...Now I'm trying to log into our network remotely...with Windows VPN now the message I keep getting is "Remote can not agree on PPP"
I'm using PPTP an the CISCO and PPTP on windows2000 and PAP..and I still get no where with it, but W98 pc logs in with no problem...so I dont think it's the Cisco. Am i missing something??? Anyone have some Ideas????

Try setting the VPN type to automatic in your properties for this connection. Good luck, and Happy Computing

I do have it set on auto.....

I've tried cisco for help with this matter...no luck
MSKB no good either....I'm stumped.
