I have a LAN on a Windows 2000 server. I need to set up Remote Access using the Internet - VPN. What additional hardware will I need and where will I find more information on setting it up.

I followed the article literally!..and I can not even PING the external IP address that the Win2k Server has!
what is wrong?

FYI i just setup a VPN server for our network and discovered that with all services packs and security updates installed the VPN server will drop all nonVPN packets and consequently the external VPN IP will NOT respond to pings.
