I thought VPN tunneling would not affect the access to the internet, would an E1 connection solve this dilema???
Any advice greatly appreciated.

I've been hired to implement a network for two companies which have just merged. Both use TCP/IP as their network communication, and both have internet access, and both use NAT. Now they want a dedicated circuit between them, over TCP/IP. They do NOT want to use VPN tunneling, as the traffic will affect Internet connectivity.

An E1 would solve this, but a tunnel would not affect it really much at all...especially with an E1 or greater.
