We have a VPN that has been in for a while and it always prompts for a username and password. We connect to this via creating a windows vpn connection. Recently we have had a Cisco VPN installed, we connect to this via the Cisco VPN software and this does not prompt for any username and password how would I go about setting the new VPN to prompt for a username and password and to use the ad username and passwords like the old one ?

Set up "client authentication" in the VPN device. Start by determining what source you want to use for authentication: local configuration, RADIUS, or TACACS.
