VPN woes

I am attempting to set up a VPN so that myself and other users can log in from home to work.

We are utilising a Windows 2003 Server through a D-Link DSL504 router. I have configured the router to allow VPN passthrough and set up a VPN server on the Server.

When I attempt to log on though from home, I am unable to make contact with the server. Any thoughts, anybody?
