I have a SOHO3 firewall I'm trying to configure for a VPN. It's quite out of date and the firmware is version 2.something (I'm not at work so I don't have the number onhand) whereas the current version is 6+. The previous IT guy doesn't remember any of the info that went into setting up the VPN in the first place or what client is needed to connect. There are some set up but I downloaded the Sonicwall Global VPN client to connect but that doesn't work as the global is disabled. There are three individuals listed to connect to the VPN who are no longer with the company so I can't see their computers to know what client software they use. Neither WinXP's VPN client setup nor the Sonicwall Global VPN client allows me to enter all the info under any of the users that exist for the IKE keys or whatnot. I tried following the instructions to create a new VPN tunnel from the product guide but that didn't work either. I want to disable the old VPNs and create a new one but need to know how to do it first. Does anyone know which client I need? Or how to do it?
