Hello, I have a PIX 515 that has 2 default routes and the way I do this is to have 1 default route and a vpn that filters traffic out the other interface. anyway my prob now is that i dont have enough bandwidth for the wan sites (t1) which i'm assuming is due to the encryption. I have only used des but wanted to know if i can create this vpn with no encryption. any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
jdl

If you didn't have any encryption then it wouldn't be a VPN, would it?

Chris.

Anyone have any other suggestions on how to get the pix to route between 2 routers?
thanks

If I understand correctly, you want Internet traffic to go out one interface and WAN traffic to go out a different interface?

If so, get rid of the VPN and add static routes to the PIX using the route command. Add routes for your WAN network(s) specifying the interface you want the traffic to go through. For example, if the interface was named "wan":

route wan 172.16.0.0 255.255.0.0 192.168.1.1

The 192.168.1.1 would be the next hop.
