I am a client on a cable broadband network with a dynamic IP address. I have an IPSEC rule on Win2K forming a tunnel with a Netgear VPN router. When my IP address changes, my rule has to be manually changed. Is there any way around this or is there some way I can automate the process of changing my IPSEC rule with the new IP address when it changes.

Thanks

This might help. I had a problem that was just about the same. I use a high end router and opened everything up on it. Then I justed the inside Lan IP as the static IP to a second router and configure it for the VPN. It does work because the dhcp is all handled before the end router. As for software, I've never heard of anything.
