Hello Everyone and thanks in advance for reading.
I have a linksys befsx vpn set up. The office is running a 192.168.0.0 network and is a windows 2003 server environment with xp boxes. The home remote site is a 192.168.3.0 network.
I can ping the server at work from the house all day long. However, when I logged on to the machines & on to the domain, my network drives are not reconnected. It seems as though I am having an authentication problem.
When I reviewed the DNS settings for the remote computers, I noticed that they do show up in DNS as 192.168.3.100 & 192.168.3.101. Can foreign ip ranges be authenticated to a windows server by default or do I have to configure some settings?
DHCP is handed out at the office by the server and handed out by the router at the house.
Thanks
