hello all I'm new to managing severs so hopefully someone can help me out. I have a client that wants to be able to access their server from their home PC's is this possible with 2003 or what additional packages do i need to install. Would i need to install remote desktop on this clients home PC's and after thats installed how would i connect...please help.
 
What you need to do is enabling RRAS on the Windows 2003 server as VPN server. If you have a router, make sure it is VPN pass through and the port 1723 forward to the server. You also need to install Microsoft VPN client on the client computer. This how to may help,
