VPN w/ PIX 501

I have a PIX 501 that is configured for VPN access.
I can estalish a successful connection and receive the local IP address (i.e. 192.168.x.x), but I can not ping nor access any systems on the LAN. I noticed that the subnet mask assigned, is 255.255.255.255 and the local SM is 255.255.255.0.

Any suggestions?
