We want to open up the access to our internal network from the internet for AD users in our network. We are currently using PCA with a single user login abillity. We want to know if a VPN would...
1) Be more secure than PCA
2) Have quicker throughput than PCA.
Thanks for any replies.

Hello paulray:

It has been my experience with both Windows 98 and 2000 that VPN and PCAnywhere are close in speed over DSL or Roadrunner.

The New PCAnywhere has great security features, in fact you can have it use Windows Authentication.

Just set up your security in Windows, check Windows Authentication in PCAnywhere and your Done.

Where PCAnywhere shines is its intuitive setup of remote printers and easy file transfer.

It is more difficult and time consuming to setup VPN properly.

Hope this helps.
