VPN using at USR8000 Broadband Router

Anyone ever configured a USR8000 to allow VPN access to a Windows 2000 server. My VPN setup seems ok as it will connect over a physical connection but wont access via the external IP? The 1723 port is opened on the router along with port 47 but still no joy

Any ideas
