VPN using an iMac

I've got an iMac running os 8.6 that I need to be able to create a VPN connection with, through an IBM running XP.

Any suggestions?

What I'm trying to do is set up an easy way for an employee to send one file to a certain folder on our server using the iMac. So if you have other suggestions that will work, that would be great too.
