One of our clients requires us to access their network via an Aventail VPN server. Our hosts have Aventail client install and are able to connect and receive an IP address from the Aventail server.

The problem is that we are unable to connect to the terminal server that we need to use to remote into their desktop client pc's.

When we tracert, the traffic goes out our public interface and gets lost.

If we cannot to a wireless network outside of ours, we can connect the aventail client and the pings show the route is two hops in their network.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

The Aventail SSL VPN requires the administrator to specifically assign you permission to use particular devices on the local network. I suspect you do not have permission to do this.

If you connect using a browser instead of the client, you can see what items you have been permitted to access.

If you are not familiar, just point the browser (https) to the same ip address you are using for the client setup. It will probably require you to do a one time download of some local software to run this way.
