Hi if anyone can give me any information on this, it will be a huge help. I am able to connect through the VPN to the network at my work, so can other remote users. My question is, is there a way for me as a remote user who is on the VPN to connect to another remote user who is also using VPN to connect to work. I have tried connecting through remote desktop and other programs, but I get the same error message, the network is too busy. I was starting to think it is not possible for me to connect to another remote users computer if we are both on the VPN. Please help with any suggestions. Thanks so much:)!

First off.. how are you connecting? Are you connecting to a headend device, such as a PIX? Or are you connecting to a VPN server, Win2000?

Also, are you using IPSec, PPTP, L2TP?

Thanks:)

ok.. what operating system is the VPN server?? what software are you using to connect to the VPN?

I am using Windows XP, with the Cisco VPN XP client connecting to a Cisco VPN 3000 Concentrator, and trying to connect to another Cisco VPN client/Windows XP user via Windows remote desktop.

ok so it's a headend device..

you won't be able to connect to the other person who is ALSO VPN'd as you are both using the Cisco VPN Client which has a firewall built into it.

Thank you for all your help. Is there a way to solve this?...What if one of us uses a different software to connect to the VPN?

the one using the cisco client will not be able to be connected to.
