I have a situation where a particular network (eg. 10.1.1/24) uses a default gateway of 10.1.1.1 and I need to add a second router 10.1.1.2 to allow VPN access. (No, I can't replace the existing router). What can I do so that traffic to my remote subnet (eg. 10.1.2/24) will route through the new VPN router?

Are there other ways of accomplishing this such as having both networks on the same subnet and forcing ALL traffic through the VPN? In fact, is it possible to setup a VPN tunnel that is transparent to the PC's and broadcasts all traffic on both sides?

Just thinking.... Is it possible to change the DG this would push the traffic through the second router with the VPN. Just an idea. But it im not sure how your system is setup. i.e. does the second router have internet access?

Thanks for the reply but no, I can't change the default gateway. Looks like I'll have to build a static route on the server and any other PCs that need access to route the packets properly.
