I have a PPTP RAS server setup on at WIN2K server. The server is on the inside of a PIX520 firewall. I am receiving an error 800 from an XPP client also within the firewall when trying to check the connections. I have the appropriate conduits and static addresses in the PIX configuration. Is there something else I'm missing?

Are you allowing PPTP ports to come in? Check that.

Cheers,
Rajesh

Yes. I able to solve this by turning off the static IP addresses I had for VPN clients and let the remote network assign them. I think that I was having a problem with name resolution on the DNS server for the additional octet.

Thank you for your response.
