I've setup a VPN connection using watchguard firewall and windows 2000 server RADIUS.

Authenticating works fine and i'm able to ping by IP and Name. I'm not able to browse any resources, net use or net view anything in the network. I get a system error 53 when trying to net view or net use.

When I run ipconfig on the win2k Pro machine on the remote site I see the subnet mask assigned to my virtual adapter is all 255s. How can i change that on my client? The only options i see are manually add IP, DNS and WINS but not the subnet mask/

Anyone else run into this problem?

thanks

Problem solved. It was responding when pinged by FQDN but was not adding the suffix when just pinging the machine name. Resolved via the DNS tab on the VPN adapter client.
