VPN stay on all the time?

Hello all! I have gotten a linksys vpn box to connect to a pix via a site to site vpn.

I have "keep-alives" checked on the linksys router, but the pix still says something about "keep-alives not configured" in the logs.

Anyways the vpn tunnel works fine, but I notice it has to "demand dial" whenever I haven't used it in awhile, which is a 4-5 second delay.

Anyway to make the pix just keep the vpn connection alive all the time?

Try this on the Pix:

isakmp keepalive 15 5

Doesn't the pix have default keepalives turned on anyways?
