VPN setup recommendations

I would like to set up VPN access to my home network and would like suggestions about configuration and clients.

I have a Cisco 2651XM router on rel. 12.4 (c2600-advsecurityk9-mz.124-12c.bin) and wish to connect using a Windows XP laptop.
