Hi!

Any recommendations on a (prefably free) VPN server that can run under XP Pro (SP2)?

Thanks!

Jakob

The best idea would just be to use windows server family or novell as far as i know novell have made a free server, dunno what it's worth though...

Why not just use the one that is already built into XP ?
I assume you only need a very small number of connections, otehrwise as Kbutcher5 suggests the best idea may be to use windows server.

You could use the one in xp as country suggests, but as far as i remember it is limited. Hardware is the best solution, but i guess you don't have the kind of money this requires ;)
But try out xp's own, if the shit's too crappy try windows 2003 server, looks like xp but handes like 2000 ;)

Thanks guys!

Didn't know that XP had a VPN server. I need one or two connections.

Been looking in system32, but can't seem to find it -what's it called?

Thanks again

Jakob
