HELP (please)...
I've the cisco vpn client running on Xp Pro laptop, which is part of a local Wireless LAN (10.168.0.5) with DNS and default route set up to my main PC running WinRoute Pro (10.168.0.1).

Everything works fine for normal etc.

I've two VPN profiles, one for BA and one for my other client.

The connection to BA works fine, with routing of packets to remote local addresses in the 10.248.xx domains. BA also have the VPN profile disable access to all other nets.

The other VPN profile connects ok, but does seems to bypass all packets I sent to remote clients on their 192.168.xx domain. They still allow access to other nets, an I presume this is at the heart of the problem.

A trace route to 192.168.0.1 simply time's out on each hop, and a ping returns nothing. The VPN client shows my local address as 192.168.5.xx (changes each time).

route print before and after vpn connection is unchanged (?). i.e...

Does XP hold routing info anywhere else ?

Fixed it-

I created a port to port mapping through WinRoute for protocol 50 to the remote laptop's private IP address.

Weird that this should be required for one VPN profile but not for the other.
