VPN Remotephone question

Hey guys,

just wondering how to set a VPN remote phone to plug into ANY network to connect to the IP OFFICE without having to reprogram the phone?

i know you can do this with the Avaya SG routers, but is there something else you can use? is there any other router that will let you do the same thing?

If you look at Tech tip 184 i use the Juniper PSK with X-Auth option.

sorry about that... i do have that tech tip. it works very good, but i think the Generic PSK set up is wrong (i cant save the password in the flash memory).

do you think if i change the set up on the Netgear router and the VPN phone to "mode config" this should fix the problem? do you think, if the phone turns off, the phone will come back up and connect to the IP OFFICE without having to reprogram the phone?
