VPN "error communicating with the Gateway"

Hello All:

I just installed a FW1-NG FP3 behind a DSL router Netopia 4541. Im able to connect with SecureRemote FP3 from the Internet but when I try to ping, telnet or any other tool inside it fails. I received "error communicating with the Gateway" after "Exchanging keys. I was checking the logs but there is not indication of what is happening. By the way, I tried also using UDP encap.
Any ideas I'll really appreciate
