I have a Contivity at a branch site connecting to my BCM.

For some reason VPN Keeps going down over night. The logs don't give me much b/c the time on the Contivity is screwed up. My BCM is syncing with a NTP server and when i try to use that same NTP server i get errors.

How can i sync the contivity to a NTP Time server.

Could this time issue be causing my Tunnel to go down every night?

Time issue shouldn't make a difference. Do you have an idle timeout or rekey data timeout configured on the branch office profile?

Here are my settings in the Branch Office Profile on the BCM.

Idle Timeout = 00:15:00
Rekey Timeout = 08:00:00
Rekey Data Count (kb) = 0

May want to try changing your idle timeout to a higher value, or set it to 00:00:00. You can enable "nailed up" as well. I don't recall if there are corresponding settings on the BCM IPSEC side though. I haven't used IPSEC on a BCM in a couple years.
