Hello Guys,
I can't connect my company-notebook to the company-network through my home pc from my home office.

My config is:

HOME PC:
- flat wireless connection, running Win2000 Advanced Server, Administrator account, IP routing working well

COMPANY N.BOOK:
- conntected to the Home PC with 10/100 LAN cable; simple user account, no chance to change any advanced setting

I have no problem to surf on the the notebook. When I start the VPN client, after entering my username and password, the authentication finishes and the VPN connection is established. Everytrhing looks fine, but from this moment on all data transfer stops. does not work any longer and I can't connect to the company-exchange server neither.

If I try to connect my notebook through 56k modem, everything works fine but is tooooo slooow and much more expansive.

Please help a deseprate user!

Thank you in advance!!!

I'm a bit confused. Is the VPN connection working at this point, or is it dead as well?

If I try to connect my notebook through 56k modem, everything works fine . . .

Are you using the VPN connection over your modem connection, or are you dialing directly to the company server?

Are you able to connect your home PC to the company VPN, or is that even an option?

Finally, which VPN client are you using?

Sorry for confusion.

When I dial in from the notebook dierctly through 56k modem, the VPN works and I have full access.
This is though a very slow and expansive alternative.

I have a flat wireless connection on my homme PC, therefore I would prefer to use it instead of the slow dial up.

When connecting my notebook by LAN through Home PC / Wireless, after successful authentication and the message that "VPN Connection has been established", the incoming data flow stops totally.

Hope I was clear this time.

Ciao
