VPN problem

I set up VPN client on my workstation in domain contain proxy server and I want to connect to another machine through the net but when installing the VPN and click dial I find user name password and domain so when I put username and password and instead of the domain (domain not regesterd) but part of this domain is the machine on the net so when also try the IP address of the machine instead of the domain and click ok I found the same error as the first is Error 678 There is no answer modem did not pick upb the phone please check the number and try to call again ,and I am not using modem here is net and vpn1 what is wrong

Well... Italy, it's really hard to say what and where the problem is unless you come up with something clearer and more specfic. Try to isolate your problem first. Write what you want to do? What you have done? and exactly where you are having problem? Only then we will be able to do something for you.

the machine on the net (has ip address) and I am trying to vpn it from my private network and I get this error after I dial from this ,I thing this clearer or if you want more let me more .Thanks
